Here is a screencast I have done showing a new feature that will be on the next release of the ExtJsExtender controls.I just have to solve a designer bug that happens when I add columns to the grid code.

I installed VS 2008 this morning and tried adding your control to the toolbox. I get "Could not load AjaxControl Toolkit v 1.0.10618.0'...
Can you provide the working sample on Master pages (specially the one with grid selection)?
Your sample work fine without master pages but doe4sn't work if it has master pages
